One third each of the annual tuition is payable by June 15, 2011, by September 15, 2010, and by December 15, 2010.  The enrolment/re-enrolment fee is due with the payment of the first installment.

8. No Reductions

No reductions are granted for fees that are due for payment within less than one academic term according to no. B 4 to B6. No reduction in fees can be made for any prolonged absences from school.

9. School Place Reservation

ISR will only reserve a school place for an enrolled student if a one-time school place reservation has been arranged for by the student’s parents or guardian. This can be done by payment of a “verlorener Zuschuss” or by concluding a “Silent Partnership Contract”. The receipt of a direct debit mandate in this respect equals payment on account of performance. The school place reservation must be finalised within one month after mutual signing of the school contract at the latest, and in each and every case before the student’s first day at school. The parties are aware of and accept the fact that the enrolment procedure is not finalised unless said school place reservation has been made.

The finalised school place reservation confers the right to the initial enrolment as well as to the yearly re-enrolment for the following academic year. However, ISR can only guarantee a school place if the re-enrolment for the following academic year is submitted by May 31st of the current academic year. If the deadline is not met, ISR may reject the re-enrolment due to lack of capacity. § 4 section 4 of “Silent Partnership Contract” with the ISR GmbH remains unaffected.

10. School Books

One set of books at most is provided free of charge for each student. For details, please refer to the regulations of the “Student Parent Handbook” in the latest version.

11. Payment by Third Parties

In the school contract parents or guardians may denote a third party to pay the costs for the schooling instead. However, the parents or guardians remain legally responsible and must ensure the timely payment of the fees. Parents or guardians are liable for any overdue payments, including default charges.

12. Delay in Payment

With regard to any delayed payment of amounts invoiced or due with regard to contracts, ISR reserves its right to suspend the student from (further) school attendance. The parties are aware of and agree with this term.

13. Collection Expenses

If it becomes necessary for ISR to send a reminder for tuition fee payments, ISR is entitled to charge an administration surcharge of 50,00 € per reminder.

14. Tax Deductibility

According to § 10 I No.9 EStG it may be possible to claim 30% of the tuition fees, max. € 5,000, paid for grades 1-12 as tax-deductible extraordinary expenses on your tax return. For grades KG1 and KG2 it may be possible to claim two-thirds, max. € 4,000, as tax-deductible expenses on your tax return, according to § 9c EStG. It is also possible for the abovementioned grades that, according to § 3 No. 33 EStG, the employer itself may generate the care expenses free from taxes. Please contact your tax advisor.

A receipt for the fees paid in the calendar year will be issued by the ISR Accounting Department at the beginning of the following year.
