The PARENT NETWORK (PN) of ISR is an informal voluntary organisation open to all parents with children at the school.
THIS IS OUR CHARTER:

Bullet  PN is the “Bridge” between parents at the management of the school.

Bullet  PN aims to build a strong community among ISR families.

Bullet  PN identifies issues that affect our children & community, informs the school and

    follows up on solutions.

Bullet  PN is not responsible for the academic program of ISR.

Bullet  PN encourages our community to pool its resources for the benefit of all.

Bullet  PN strives to spread an optimistic and constructive spirit in our school.

Financially, we are a mostly self-funded organisation (not an “eingetragener Verein” as defined by German tax law), with some financial support from the SABIS® corporation. We spend all our proceeds for the benefit of the school, and donate nothing to charity.

EVENTS AND PROJECTS:

Examples of our work include publication of the PN Weekly Updates posted on WebParent, Bake Sales, co-organisation of International Day, Concerts, Open Door meetings, and staff appreciation day, cooperation with the Internationaler Dialog Rhein-Kreis Neuss e.V., and organise an annual PN Party.

REGULAR MEETINGS:

PN usually meets monthly during the school year. All parents are always welcome to attend. Class representatives are elected at the first open meeting of the academic year. The PN Board is elected at the last open meeting of the year.

These and all other meetings are announced in the Weekly Updates on WebParent and posted on the PN bulletin board at school.
